When in Milwaukee

Did you know that you can fit 4,000 cases of fine Miller product in one railroad car? That's a lot of beer. At the brewery tour on the Old Plank Road in Milwaukee, they tell you in many ways just how much beer that is. But the take-away message was pretty clear: they make a LOT of beer there. And the dirty little secret they don't want you to know? All of it isn't cold filtered. We were horrified.


Not too horrified to indulge in one of 4 samples that were offered gratis, though. This photograph was taken by some Japanese tourists, with whom we shared this table. The fact that this photo was taken by Japanese people is neither here nor there.
