Christmas Shopping 11/14/09

This was the scene when we loaded up the sleigh a few weeks ago and headed out to do some Christmas shopping:

Perhaps this helps explain the quality of the gifts you receive from us (or lack thereof).

The Book Barn in Niantic, CT (yes, that's right: also the home of the women's prison). I loved that place even before I knew they had mountain goats! And yes, we had to indulge in the gumball machine cup of treats that looked suspiciously like unsalted cornnuts. We were Christmas shopping.
